About UNDP Malawi
UNDP in Malawi sees its role as supporting government to use development resources effectively and accountably to achieve the objectives of the Malawi Growth and Development Strategy (MGDS) and attain the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).
Government of Malawi came up with the MGDS aimed at promoting sustainable economic growth and wealth creation in order to improve the lives of Malawians and address the achievement and sustainability of the Millennium Development Goals.
Our programmes are defined by these national development priorities drawn in the MGDS and focused on supporting Malawi achieve the Millennium Development Goals. UNDP Malawi is structured into three broad programme clusters, namely: Capacity Development, Millennium Development Goals and Governance
UNDP Malawi is committed to delivering development and advisory services in an efficient and timely manner.
